PACKAGE DETAILS

Standard Package - R 16 000 per team

Your all inclusive entry gives your team all it needs with no back-up necessary. All your meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, as well as a tent and comfortable mattress.

We provide you with an official race bag that we will transport from venue to venue.

    Team of 2 Package consists of the following:
  1. A race that exposes you to all Africa can offer. Semi arid deserts, huge mountain ranges and coastal forests. Watch our scouting reports for news on new and exciting routes.
  2. Dryland Gear bag for all your goods.
  3. Race T shirt.
  4. Race Finisher's T shirt.
  5. 3 Scrumptious meals per day.
  6. Hospitality of the local community with all meals prepared locally with home cooked goodness.
  7. Nutritional needs of the riders are kept in mind.
  8. Vegetarian options available.

Tented Village

  • Spacious 2 man tent per rider – ready for occupation when you arrive at finish venue.
  • Comfortable mattress.
  • All finish venues are located centrally in the villages for easy access to restaurants and shops.
  • Hot showers.
  • Clean accessible toilets.

The Platinum upgrade has been sold out

Platinum Upgrade Package - R 12 500 per team

The Platinum upgrade is for the teams that are looking for a little more pampering and luxury. These riders stay in guest houses and hotels where available, and will also have the services of a driver/host as well as a sports massage therapist.

PLEASE NOTE: this package has to be purchased over and above the Standard Package.

    In addition to the standard entry package, platinum package riders will also receive the following:
  • 5 nights accommodation in a guest house or hotel from 18-22 October 2010 and is per person sharing.
  • Lunch, Dinner and prize giving at the stage location
  • 1 vehicle per 4 platinum package teams
  • 1 driver/host per 4 platinum package teams
  • 1 sports massage therapist per 4 platinum package teams, with a 45 minute session per rider per day at your accommodation location.
  • Breakfast at your hotel/guesthouse
  • Race bag delivered to and collected from your accommodation location
  • Transport between accommodation and the stage location

4 platinum teams will be placed together and also share a vehicle, a host/driver and a sports massage therapist. Riders and their bags will be transported between their accommodation and the race village. This upgrade option can only be done in team format, no individual upgrades are allowed.
