RACE CATEGORIES
The Cape Pioneer Trek allows riders to take part in teams of two. This feature is there to ensure rider safety and promote
camaraderie amongst teams. Riders have to stay together at all times, in other words start and finish each stage together.
A penalty will be exercised if riders are more than 2 minutes apart.
Race categories are as follows:
- Open men
- Open ladies
- Open mixed
- Veterans 80+ Minimum age of each rider 40 years
- Masters 100+ Minimum age of each rider 50 years
